Pork is one of the most commonly served meats in Puerto Rico and at Casa Núñez we use it many different ways. Our roasted pork shoulders or loins are done with all the traditional Jibaro ("islander" or, affectionately, "hillbilly") seasonings. We use that same delicious meat in our Cuban Sandwiches (pictured above) ... now that ought to make your mouth water!
We also specialize in the traditional rice dishes, especially Titi Maria's special Arroz con Pollo (Chicken with Rice) or the traditional Asopao (especially popular at holiday time).
Naturally, we provide all the typical side dishes to complement these entrées, as well as recipes for beverages (including the classic Piña Colada or our own "Mangoza"... with secret ingredients from Iván's birthplace in San Juan!).
